Definition of terms
“We” and “Mbition” refers to Mbition, a subsidiary company of Compleo Sport Ltd.
“You” and “the user” refer to the individual user.
“Race Partners” refers to amateur and professional organisations who organise or facilitate mass participation running races. This could be event management companies, race organisers, charities, running groups or individuals.
What data do we gather?
When you register with Mbition we request a small amount of personal data such as your name, date of birth and weight to enhance your app experience to provide accurate data such as calories used.
We also ask for email address so we can send you summaries of your training progress and also subscription offers. By entering an email address and password you can access your training plans and run data on multiple devices or if you change phones.
As you record your runs we gather data on your training sessions, performance and progress towards your race goal.

Sharing your data
We will not sell your data to any third parties. However there are three instances where we may need to share your personal data with third parties.
Business Transfers: In the event of a sale or merger of all or part of mbition as a business entity, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets. In this situation we would inform users of the transfer of data ownership and any transfer would be carried out with data protection at the forefront of what we do.
Legal Requirements: if requested to do so then we are legally obliged to share your data with relevant legal authorities. We may also pass personal details to the authorities if we believe a user is in breach of their terms and conditions, or to investigate criminal attacks on the integrity of our network.
We will not share your health information with any third parties.
Storing your data
Our data is stored on Amazon Web Services. Data on Amazon Web Services is protected by highly secure facilities and infrastructure, and extensive network and security monitoring systems.
Accessing information stored about you
You may at any time request to see all the data held about you. Please email to request this information. We will respond within 7 - 10 business days.
Payments and payment details
All payments are taken through SagePay. Mbition do not have access to or store your payment details other than keeping record of what subscription you have purchased and the renewal date.
Age restrictions and child protection
For health reasons we discourage users under the age of 16 from using Mbition. We believe in safe exercise and training for young people which should always be supervised by a fitness or medical professional.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us on and we will endeavor to remove that information from our databases. If you are under thirteen, please do not submit any personal information to Mbition.
We will use the email address provided on your profile as outlined above. You can opt out of these at any time or following the unsubscribe list in the email.
Links to external sites
Mbition provides links within the app to third party pages, such as those of race organisers, running groups or charities. Race Partners also have the option to place information in their event listing which may link to external sites.
We would, however, encourage users to report to us any third party sites accessed via Mbition which they believe to contain inappropriate or unsafe content or that they find to be misleading, so that we can evaluate these links and if necessary remove them from the app or report them to our Race Partners.
There are settings within most browsers to opt out of this kind of tracking if you do not wish to participate.
While Mbition works hard to protect your personal information, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Transmitting personal information is done at your own risk.
As part of the registration process users can set a password on their account. We strongly recommend that users use different passwords for all their internet activities and do not write their passwords down. Mbition can not be responsible for any breaches of privacy caused as a result of users disregarding this advice.
